Preparation for Hangi

We have been doing lots of prep for the Hangi and I helped to make some yummy fried bread. I can't wait till Hangi day!

D.I.Y

We are making some new aprons out of old pillow cases in our D.I.Y session. I carefully cut down the line with the sissors . I did a good job and I can't wait to sew them up.

Fry Bread

We are having a hangi on may 3rd at the centre so we did a trial of cooking some fry bread. It turned out great and it was yum!

Snow globe

I was busy in art/D.I.Y and completed my goal of making a snow globe to go in the sensory room. I really liked the stickers I put on the outside of the jar and the glitter. I also got to finish off my jewellery box. It looks great.

Native American Indian Headband

In culture studies we are looking at the American Culture and made these Native American Indian Headbands as a craft project. Pretty cool! 

Jewellery box

I've been decorating this love heart jewellery box. I've made my name out of beads! I think it look nice and can't wait to put my braclets in it.

DIY art and upcycling

I've been gluing these stones on the edge of our beach scene art. It looks so good, I can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished!
