Guided bus tour of the Port of Tauranga

Yesterday we met the port bus at Pilot Bay for a guided tour. We went on to the Port and the driver showed us how and what was exported and imported off the Port. We went right up next to a cruise ship. The trucks were delivering logs and a crane was putting containers on a ship to take them overseas. My favourite part was seeing the cruise ship so close. The life boats looked as big as the bus we were in!

I have made a great start choosing a duck template to mosaic, getting used to the feeling of wet clay in my hands, and a great outing on a beautiful day to check out what's going on down at Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui.

First week back at Arohanui

I am happy to be back at Arohanui seeing all my friends :). I am loving learning how to use the iPad!!
