Design and Technology

I love the colours of the material that I’m using to make my apron. We have the sewing machine out and are just about to sew on a pocket for my apron. I’m having fun making this and look forward to be able to use it in the kitchen once it’s finished. 

Sensory at Greerton

I enjoy going to sensory at Greerton every Wednesday afternoon. This week we had a cool light show to look at.it was very relaxing. 

Healthy Living and Fruit Salad

In Topics and Themes we talked about the Food Pyramid and healthy eating and living. Then in cooking we peeled and chopped fruit and made a fruit salad.

Photography Fun

The Arts group had fun experimenting with taking pictures using different angles and perspectives. I look like I am jumping out of a teacup and getting squashed by a big foot.

Cooking a recipe from the Healthy Food Guide

I helped make a delicious creamy chicken and leek pasta bake in cooking. I would love to cook this again it was a winner!

Sensory Experiment

I enjoyed taking part in a cool experiment. We made something that looked like a sensory bubble tube using oil, water, food colouring and a fizzy tablet. It was pretty and made lots of bubbles.

Off to the beach

It was fun in sensory this week. I was Feeling the different textures on these shells. Watching the surfers, fish, sharks and seals. I can’t wait until it’s summer again so I can go to the real beach! I would like to try and find a star fish.
