Ocean Beach Park

I had a nice morning at Ocean Beach Park, I played some scrabbe & socialised with friends.

 

Centre shopping

 I like going to New World Gate Pa do help with our centre shopping. We write a list & tick it off as we go & add up the items to make sure we have the correct amount of money. 

Drama show

I went to the Detour theatre at the Historic village to support my friends who were performing onstage at the end of term drama show. This show was called Oliver with a Twist. I laughed & sung alone throughout the show.

Kanohi kitea

I had fun at the Kanohi kitea, I watched a kapa haka perfomance, and I went inside the Whare Wananga at Otumoetai College, and made myself a poi, I watched some of my friends learn the tii rakau, and have fun outside with different games with Circability.

 

I Sing Performance

 I rocked it on stage in our Wilrose I Sing performance. It was cool to have some friend's from Greerton cheer us on. 

Personal book

I really enjoy adding to my personal book. I like to cut out my new photos and glue them in while making headings for each page. 

Disco fun

 I had a fun day dancing with my friends to dj spin music at our Wilrose Disco and enjoyed a nice hot lunch of mince and fried bread. 

Centre shopping

Its great coming into Arohanui Wilrose on a Monday now too. I am very helpful with the centre shopping, i push the trolly & find the items we need on our shopping list. 

I also enjoyed working on my personal book.

Started my mittens

 I've almost completed one of my mittens and going to start the second one next week. I am happy with how they are coming along and have designed these myself! 

Connect 20

 I knitted some pretty pink booties for baby Adaline, I added frills with flowers to the booties. 

I enjoyed a yummy hot lunch of fish & chips at the Citz club with my friends from Connect 20 social group.

Sonic Cinema

I enjoyed watchng the movie Doolittle 2020 at the Sonic Cinema at the Historic village. In the afternoon I chose a puzzle to take home from the puzzles that were kindly donated to our Wilrose centre. 

Waiata

 I had a great morning practicing my kapa haka movements & waiata.

Bowling wii games

 I liked playing ten pin bowling wii games with my friend Moeata. 

Alice in wonderland

 This week I went and watched my friends perform thier play 'Alice in wonderland'. There was lots of music to sing along to, I really enjoyed myself. 

Knitting socks

 I am enjoying learning how to knit socks as part of my goal. They will be a pretty pink colour.

Connect 20

I liked catching up with friends from Connect 20 social group while eating a yummy lunch of fish bites & chips at the Citz club. 

My Time

 I enjoy knitting in my time followed by crafts, this week i made a cute fluffy sheep. 

Waiata

I liked singing Stan walker Take it Easy in karaoke. I also singing liked Haaere Mai.

Photo album

 I enjoyed doing more pages in my photo album. Ive got new photo's and coloured in some tittle pages for them. It's looking fantastic.

Golden Oldies Disco

I had a fun day singing & dancing to songs that I like at our Golden Oldies theme disco. Hot pumpkin soup & fried bread was a yummy lunch. 

My Personal book

I really enjoy designing pages with my photos for my 2025 Personal book. 

Crafts

 I enjoyed colouring in a picture for my personal book. I think my dog is beautiful & I really like how colourful it looks.

Connect 20 Social group

I enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Tauranga Citz club, I order fish bites & hot chips. It was really nice to catch up with friends from Connect 20 social group.

 

Anzac crafts

 I had a nice time doing some Anzac themed colouring this week.

Easter activities

 I had fun doing a word find & colouring in Easter activities. I then enjoyed some quiet time knitting.

Talent quest

 I had so much fun singing for the talent quest on Friday. Everyone had a great time and we had some awesome judges who enjoyed all of our performances. 

My Time

 I enjoyed knitting and gluing some photos into my personal book during My Time this week.
