christmas celebrations

 it was a fun day getting to perform in the i-sing christmas performance. I had a nice kfc lunch with fruit and icecream dessert. What an awesome to end my year at the centre.

What a  nice treat going  to the Citz club for a  cooked lunch  with my friends , I had a burger and chips  and enjoyed  every  mouthful.

 

Drama show

 I had a lovely time going to watch my friends at their Christmas Drama show. It was pretty funny and well worth the watch. The show had a witch, dragon, pirates, town folk and Santa!

Summer party

 I had a nice summer party in the centre with my friends and enjoyed sunshine and listened to music

I enjoyed Filling in my pepeha while in Twinkl, it is a journey of reconnecting with my roots .

Connect 20

I had a lovely afternoon catching up with friends from Connect 20 social group while at the Tauranga citz club. I had a nice cold lemonade. 

Twinkl Fun

 I had a fun morning in Twinkl making scratch art & completing puzzles of my choice. 

Creating steak skewers

 In creative kitchen I learnt how to make a tasty marinate to put on steak. I threaded my steak pieces onto a skewer and cooked it up and it taste nice and juicy!

 I had a fun and wonderful day with my friends and I enjoyed drank a cup of water limited 

Diwali activities

 I enjoyed listening to some Diwali celebration music whilst doing a word finder. It was a challenge that I enjoyed finding all the words related to Diwali. 

Bag making

Today I had a fun day making myself a new bag using the sewing machine out of some beautiful fabric  I picked out. I was so happy with the final look. Check it out!

'Purple disco'

 I had a great time grooving to the music at our Wilrose purple themed Disco. My friends & I enjoyed some delicious gourmet mixed sandwiches for lunch with some purple ( blackcurrant) juice to wash them down. What an awesome way to end my week! 

Drama Performance

 

Kia ora ko Gayleen ahau, today we went to watch our friends perform their drama play. I was so happy I went to watch and cheer them on. I even sung along to the songs! They did a great job! 

Practicing for Christmas

Kia ora it's me Gayleen today I practiced learning my words to my Christmas song and working on my different pitches and exercising my vocals I had fun I am looking forward to the day I can sing my Christmas song to my friends and our great staff.
 

Marble Bar

Kia ora its me Gayleen I went to the marble bar on Friday for frenz time we played pool and talked about things that made us happy we also learnt how to have patience and take turns with good sportsmanship and a happy attitude.

 

Olympic craft

  Today we created the Olympic rings but cutting out paper. We are going to stick it to a photo frame for our Olympics day. I can't wait!

Historic Village

Kia ora ko Gayleen ahau today my friends and I went to the historic village to hide painted rocks and enjoy the warm weather also we looked at displays with old bones and rocks it was a great way to end my week off before a relaxing weekend.

 

Creative Kitchen

 

Hi everybody my name is Gayleen and I am extremely happy today because I got to complete my goal. I made cauliflour and cheese sauce in creative kitchen. I enjoyed cutting the cauliflour and making the cheese sauce from scratch. I constantly had to stir the ingrediants so our sauce would not be lumpy but it was all worth it when my friends and I got to eat our healthy meal because it was delicioius and I would eat it again.

Lifeskills

In Lifeskills, I finished my blanket, Im so happy, and I can't wait to use it to keep me warm while Im at the centre.

 

Citz Club - Connect 20

I enjoyed my lunch today at the Citizens Club, and catching up with my Connect 20 friends, 

The burger and fries were yummy, finished off with a nice cold drink.

Pamper morning

I had a nice relaxing  morning because it was a pamper morning. I hada lovely hand massage and a back massage. 

Foodbank

 I went to Foodbank to do some volunteering. I helped to bag up some pies. It made me feel good to help people in need.
