Christmas party 2023

  It was an awesome day spent dancing with friends, watching the circability glow in the dark acts, eating yummy food and getting a present to open at this year's 2023 Christmas party. I had a great time! See you all back here in 2024.

Santa sticks

 In creative kitchen we stuck with our Christmas theme and made these cute little Santa kebab sticks. They were a nice sweet treat. 

Personal Book

 I enjoy creating my personal book with photos all about my fun year. 

Anzac Park

 I had a lovely morning at Anzac Park with my friends. I enjoyed the swing and found it very relaxing.

Photo album

 I was happy to get started on putting my photo album together. I made a special front page with me on the front! I can't wait to put the rest together and take it home to show everyone what I've done in 2023! 

Connect 20 group

 I enjoyed a yummy lunch at Tauranga Citz Club while socialising with friends from the Connect 20 social group. 

Parachute fun

 I had a lot of fun in circability helping toss balls in the air using a parachute 

Birthday celebration

 I had a lovely surprise on Friday having all my friends at wilrose sing happy birthday to me for my birthday on Thursday. They gave me a lovely card too and a yummy cake!

 I enjoyed doing juggling in circability this week

Te whare tapa wha

I always enjoy my Te whare tapa wha time. We are creating a wharenui entrance art piece to put on the wall. It's so relaxing listening to Waiata while getting creative. 

Circability

 I had a fun time in Circability. I liked to have a go at juggling, balancing games and enjoy the parachute, it is nice a colourful to walk underneath. 

Drama show

 I went to the detour theatre at the historic village to watch my friends in a drama show called Jack and the beanstalk. I like the music throughout the show. 

Kindness Award

 I received our Wilrose Kindness Award for always showing Kindness to everyone at our Wilrose center. I then enjoyed some karaoke fun withmy friends.

Creative kitchen

 Today we went to have a good look around the fruit and vegetable shop, we purchased a cabbage. We came back and cooked in our Wilrose kitchen and made 1 pan of curry cabbage and 1 pan of garlic soy cabbage, it was delicious.

Cruising

 I had a wonderful time on the P&O Cruise ship. I liked the shows, food, games, socialising and relaxing.

Creative Kitchen

 This week we made playdoh in our Wilrose kitchen. I liked the different colours. We have put our playdoh in our sensory room for my friends to play with. 

Connect 20

 I had a fun afternoon socialising with friends from Connect 20 at the Tauranga Citz club. I enjoyed a nice cold drink.

Te Whare Tapa Wha outing

 

We had a chance to go to Gate Pa and have a hikoi reading all the signs about the Battle of Gate Pa and looking at all the carvings.

Cruise meeting

Im starting to get excited about my cruise I will be going on. I went up to Greerton to have a meeting for all the things I need to know before I go. I've made a calendar so I can do a countdow  at home. 

Sonic cinema

 I enjoyed going with my friends to watch Rio at Sonic Cinema at the historic village. It was a nice treat having a juice and some popcorn. 

Matariki

 In Twinkl we made a Matariki board with the 9 stars ⭐️ we created a star each and put a big star on display for Matariki being the mother star. I also made a count down calendar for how many sleeps until I leave for my cruise ship holiday, I am excited.
