 I am enjoying the Christmas season and making Christmas cards. I have hand written my own cards.

Fun with the ladies

 There were heaps of laughs in the ladies group when we were putting on these cool fake tattoos! Check out my one. It looks good with my new summer shoes!

Christmas disco

 I had a great day with my friends dancing at the Christmas disco. There was Christmas laser light, music and dancing all day long? At lunch time we sat under the gazebo for some healthy fresh treats!

The Space Project Production

 I had fun going out with my Design and Technology group to watch The Space Project production performed by Tauranga Primary School. I liked the music, dancing and  bright coloured costumes.

Swimming with my flatmates

 I went swimming with my flatmate Nathan and Chris. I was so happy when we bumped into the Wilrose Swimming group because I got to have a swim with my friends too. 

Queen of Fashion - World of Wearable Arts

 I have completed my outfit for our World of Wearable Arts Show next week. I am the Queen of Fashion - I love my royal purple dress, silver crown and golden sceptre. My friends and I have enjoyed making our outfits. 

Fishing

 I loved joining the Discovery Group to go fishing. We went to Kauri Point in Katikati and we caught 3 fish between us! Yippee! 

Cooking - spinach from our garden

We made a spinach and egg like frittata with tasty cheese on top in cooking today, I helped wash the spinach we grew here at Wilrose and whisk the eggs, most importantly I enjoyed eating it yum yum!

 

Tauranga Rose Gardens

 I had a lovely morning out with my friends smelling the beautiful roses. I liked the different bright colours. 

Birthday celebrations

 I had my birthday! Yay! My friends at Wilrose got me a lovely, tasty muffin and made me a cool card. I’m going out for dinner at the Oaktree in a Greerton tonight! Roll on another fun year.

I Spy

 I had fun spying out all of the pictures that I needed to find.  I ticked off my list as I went along and I found all of them.

Girls Group - Making Surimi Salad

 We had a yummy girls group - we helped our friend Carrie achieve her goal of making surimi salad and the best bit was trying it out afterwards. Yum! 

Sensory Room - Under the Sea

 Look at this Octopus that I helped create. We made giant colourful paper chains for his 8 legs. I look like Queen of the sea in this photo. 

World of Wearable Arts at Wilrose

 Me and my friends are creating some Wearable Art costumes. Mine is based on the theme of being a Queen. After all ......... I am the Queen of Fashion!

Cooking - curry sausages

We cooked curry sausages with ingredients straight out of Wilrose kitchen. I helped cut sausages and enjoyed a bowl for lunch 😊

 

The Arts - Fashion Designer

 I helped to design a new outfit for our mannequin - Priscilla. Then we created some cool headwear for us. 

Girls Group Outing

 I had a lovely morning out at The Strand Waterfront with the friends. The sun was nice and warm and the water looked beautiful.

Mondays at Wilrose - Working on Personal Book and IPP Board

 I have started coming to Wilrose for an extra day each week - Mondays. I love it because I get to work on my personal book and IPP board. 

Card Games

 I am the winner! I had fun playing UNO card games with my friends. 

Face masks

 In lady’s group we decided to save ourselves some dollars by making our own cool face masks. We got to pick the fabric we liked and then I threaded the elastic through. There were different patterns we tried too.
